Hi! I made this card for today's TLC challenge: pounded flowers! I have to say this was a really fun challenge! What a great technique!
For this card, I squashed mint leaves and a bright pink geranium flower with my Big Shot twice on watercolor paper. I embossed the resulting paper with a Tim Holtz ef, and then I spritzed with gold Smooch. I waited for it to dry and then cut it out and mounted it on a piece of green cs that I embossed with a Spellbinders label die. I stamped, watercolored and cut out the pear, adding accents with my Uniball signo gel and glossy black ink pens. I added a soft orchid colored ribbon from SU! from looooong ago, some glittery brads from MFP, and the card was done.
TFL and have a beautiful day!!

Ooh, this is beautiful!!! I love this pear, it is my absolute favorite stamp of the year. Love it in the color you chose with that soft and pretty background.

Oooooo!! I LOVE this!!! Spectacular!! The way you did the bg with the mint and geranium, and then embossed it is so COOL!!! Your pear image placed on top really pops then. Love how you did your colors. The ribbon is soft and elegant too. Great results!!
